Here's a couple freelance projects recently done for two amazing bands! Both logos were drawn by myself and inked by the famous Noah Snodgrass from Untamed Highway!

Horse Cave Trio is a rockabilly band located in Michigan. They are known for their "hillbilly rock n' roll"!

You can hear some of their songs here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=50546755

Neptune Society is an instromental surf band from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. They're good!

Hear their songs here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=45032208

I've got a zillion more projects to post! Stay tuned!

Here's some more Untamed Highway art!

This is my first blog! I draw an underground comic book series called Untamed Highway with my buddy Noah Snodgrass. It's inspired by all the stuff Noah and I love, like classic comics, classic cartoons, old music, tiki culture, B-movies, silent movies, and lots of other stuff and things. The series is also an homage to the old roadside attractions which began to disappear during the 1950's. I'll explain more about that later.

Noah writes all the stories. He's a great writer. I layout/pencil and letter the comic, and then Noah inks it. All the color art is painted by me.

Most of my inspiration comes from old comics from the 1920's-50's, and classic cartoons from the 1930's-40's. I'm a big fan of Bob Clampett and Tex Avery cartoons, so I try to bring a classic animated style to the characters in the comic.

Noah gets a lot of inspiration from classic and underground artists. His inking style is similar to Jack Davis and Robert Crumb. I think my clean animated style of drawing mixed with Noah's scratchy detailed underground inking makes interesting artwork. Here's some samples:
