Just got a new Pitt brush pen! I've never used a brush pen before, so this drawing is crawling with mistakes. It feels kind of awkward using such a flimsy tip and I'm not experienced with drawing with brushes at all. So, anyone with experience using brush pens is welcome to offer me some critiques!

BTW, This is supposed to be a Fleischer-style caricature of my hot fiancee.

Hoooly crap!!!!!! My pal Lluis Fuzzhound in Australia loved the drawing in my previous post SO MUCH, that he actually TATTOOED it onto his person!!!! Now that's loyalty to a cartoonist if I've ever seen it! Jeez, man!!!! What a compliment! I feel honored!!!!

I drew this comic strip for some guy who makes "magnetic jewelry". Apparently magnets do something to the iron in the blood, which alleviates the inflammation in aches and pains caused by arthritis and other stuff. I don't know much about the scientific mumbo-jumbo, I just draw cartoons. I wish had more time to work on this though--the inking and lettering is atrocious. There's some Don Martin influence in this.

I got a Christmas package early this year! My mom knows that Get Smart is my favorite TV show (I own every single episode), so she mailed me a box of all this great Get Smart swag she found from 1966! I love this crap!

FINALLY! After a whole year of waiting, the new Popeye Vol. 3 BOOK is out, and I've finally got a copy of it in my sweaty, greedy hands!

If you can tell I'm excited, it's because this is one of the things I've been MOST anxious for since I pre-ordered it months and months ago and months and months ago! Popeye is now my favorite comic strip of all time! The stories are packed with more than just humor... there's also mysteries, drama, suspense, and more--making this the perfect daily strip in EVERY way! Just like volumes 1 and 2, Vol. 3 looks like it's also gonna be worth every minute of my eager waiting. In this book, Wimpy (one of the funniest comic characters of all time) makes his way into being one of the strip's main characters, AND this book also has the one and ONLY story in Segar's run of the strip which features BLUTO as one of Popeye's villains.

If you don't own any of these Popeye books, GET THEM! The original Popeye strips are the greatest things ever created!!!!

Enough of my yammerin'...I'm gonna go read now!
